(FARGO) — In the days following a pair of bomb threats at Fargo South High School, Fargo Police say the two threats were part of several received this week in Fargo.
“Along with the two bomb threats at Fargo South High School this week, the police department responded to three bomb threats on Thursday, August 2,” Captain Matt Christensen, of the Neighborhood Services Division, said in a statement released Sunday morning. The threats came in at 12:34 p.m. to a business in the 3700 block of 55th Avenue South, 2:53 p.m. to a business in the 4400 block of 17th Avenue South, and at 3:38 p.m. to a business in the 600 block of Main Avenue.
Additionally, police responded to a bomb threat to a business in the 3900 block of 13th Avenue South at 4:38 p.m. on Friday.
“All six reports were found to be unfounded and not credible”, Christensen said. “In instances like these, the FPD responds to ensure the safety of everyone involved, but each individual business decides the level of safety precautions they wish to take based on the information received.”
Police are actively investigating all six incidents. Due to the ongoing investigations, no further information can be released at this time.
