FARGO, N.D. – A home in Fargo suffers significant damage from an early morning fire Saturday.
Fargo firefighters were called to the 200 block of Circle Drive North at just before 7:30 a.m.
Firefighters encountered heavy flames coming from the home at the time of arrival. They were forced to call a second alarm due to the intensity and heavy smoke conditions.
All residents of the home were able to exit the home safely within six minutes of the call.
One individual was transported to a local medical facility for minor, non-life-threating injuries. Additionally, firefighters located two pet cats inside the home. Firefighters attempted life-saving measures on the cats; however, the attempts were unsuccessful, and the cats were pronounced deceased on scene.
The residents have been displaced, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
