FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (Valley News Live) – A former physician, who served as the “hockey doctor” for youth players in Minnesota, has been charged with multiple counts of sexual assault.
Zvi Levran, 69, of Fergus Falls, is facing six felony counts of criminal sexual conduct in Otter Tail County.
According to court records, Levran sexually abused two high school hockey players while in a position of authority from December 2014 to January 2016.
A criminal complaint states Levran engaged in sexual contact with an underage victim who sustained an ankle injury during a hockey game back in December of 2014.
A second victim was also reportedly sexually abused by Levran during the 2015-2016 hockey season while seeking treatment for a tailbone injury.
Levran practiced pediatric and family urology at Lake Region Healthcare between 2011-2018.
He’s being held in the Oakland County Jail for criminal offenses in Michigan.
Levran is scheduled to appear for a remote hearing in Otter Tail County District Court on Feb. 9, 2026.
