Grand Forks police asking your help in identifying robbery suspect

GRAND FORKS, ND — Grand Forks police are searching for an armed robbery suspect.

The robbery happened on Wednesday near a business along South Washington Street, where the suspect was seen trying to steal a locked electric scooter with a pair of bolt cutters. A man confronted the suspect, and police say he responded by raising the bolt cutters in the air, threatening to hit the man before he fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s who was wearing grey shorts, a white tank top, white tennis shoes, and had a tattoo on his arm. Anyone who has information on his identity or whereabouts should contact the Grand Forks Police Department.
