Grandin farmer enters race for District 45 House

GRANDIN, N.D. — A Grandin farmer is running for a seat in the North Dakota House.

Ross Lockhart is running to represent District 45. He said the residents of the district ‘deserve a representative who will stand up for working folks.’

A member of the Democratic Party, Lockhart holds a degree in political science from Minnesota State Moorhead and a Master’s in International Relations from the University of Kent in the U.K. He has experience in farming, government auditing and risk management.

District 45 is represented in the House by Republicans Scott Wagner and Carrie McLeod.

The district represents all of northern Cass County and represents more than 16,000 people.
