HARVEY, N.D. – The City of Harvey, North Dakota is beginning strict enforcement of its curfew ordinance because of an increase in juvenile crime and unruly acts.
The police department didn’t give any specifics on crime happening in the city in its press release.
Anyone under the age of 17 is prohibited from being in public places from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM unless accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult or are taking part in work, school or have an emergency.
Police remind parents and guardians they may be held accountable for their children violating the curfew.
