FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Hector International Airport is set to open a significant new terminal expansion for departures on Tuesday, Feb. 10, aiming to enhance the travel experience for passengers.
The expansion introduces four additional gates, a new concessions area located after security, increased seating and more bathrooms.
The project also focuses on passenger comfort and accessibility with a children’s play area, a designated service animal relief area, a mother’s room and a sensory room.
Looking ahead, an enclosed skyway connecting the parking ramp to the terminal is scheduled for completion in December 2026. Further renovations to the existing terminal are slated to conclude in the first quarter of 2027.
