VALLEY CITY, N.D. — A crash on I-94 resulted in a fatality early Sunday morning in Barnes County.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a jeep was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-94. At mile marker 298, the vehicle departed the roadway and struck a bridge support on the north side of the roadway.
The driver, a 26-year-old Jamestown woman, was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota State Patrol.
