FARGO, N.D. – Jefferson Elementary School principal Beth Olson has been named Fargo Public Schools’ Administrator of the Year.
She’s been with the district since 2012 and has been principal at Jefferson since 2019.
In November, Olson and Jefferson Elementary celebrated its multi-year journey to being removed from the state’s school improvement list.
Olson’s nominators say she approached the challenge of being removed from the state’s school improvement list with transparency, compassion and unwavering determination. They say her leadership improved measurable outcomes and strengthened the culture, confidence and collective efficacy of the entire school.
