GF Bond Referendum to go Before Voters

(Grand Forks, ND) -- The Grand Forks School Board has advanced a plan to ask taxpayers to approve an 86-million-dollar bond referendum and ten-mill increase in the building fund.  The measure goes before voters in a special election June 22nd.  If voters approve the proposal, general obligation school building funds would be issued for construction of a new k-through-8th grade school building.  The board is also proposing the consolidation of three grade schools and a middle school into a new campus structure.
