David Schneck Named Principal of Aurora Elementary School

(West Fargo, ND) -- Aurora Elementary School has it's new principal.

In an announcement Tuesday, Superintendent Beth Slette, along with Elementary Assistant Superintendent Dr. Rachael Agre, announced that David Schneck has accepted the position as the next principal at Aurora Elementary School.

Schneck began his career in education as a fourth grade teacher in Texas in 2007. From 2011 – 2013, he was a math interventionist and fourth grade teacher at Eastwood Elementary School, followed by four years at Fargo Public Schools as a student performance strategist and then an administrative intern. He returned to West Fargo Public Schools in 2018 to serve as the dean of students at Freedom Elementary School. Since 2019, he has been the assistant principal at L.E. Berger Elementary School.

Schneck holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and physical education from Mayville State University.

After interviewing and subsequently selecting Schneck, Dr. Agre said, “Mr. Schneck has proven himself to be an excellent administrator with an exceptional ability to create meaningful and lasting relationships. He is an excellent communicator, attentive listener, and respected leader in the West Fargo Public Schools community. There is no doubt that he will be a valuable addition to Aurora Elementary School.”

Schneck will assume his new role on July 1st.
