(West Fargo, ND) -- Another year, another increase in enrollment for the West Fargo Public School District.
Numbers released to WDAY Radio Monday show that West Fargo Schools have overall enrollment of 12,254 students for the 2021 – 2022 school year. This reflects an increase of 639 students from the 2020 – 2021 school year. The grade-by-grade enrollment numbers are below:
- Preschool - 159
- Kindergarten - 1,088
- Grade 1 - 1,035
- Grade 2 - 1,039
- Grade 3 - 1,015
- Grade 4 - 970
- Grade 5 - 924
- Grade 6 - 896
- Grade 7 - 948
- Grade 8 - 905
- Grade 9 - 872
- Grade 10 - 858
- Grade 11 - 756
- Grade 12 - 789
- Total - 12,254
Enrollment has also increased dramatically over the last several school years. You can see the year-by-year numbers below:

Since the 2016 - 2017 school year, the district has seen an increase of 2,258 students.
