(Fargo, ND) -- Hiring continues at the brand new Amazon Fulfillment Center in Fargo. General Manager John Sabo says they hope to hit their initial target goal of 1,400 employees within the next 3 to 4 months.
"I've really been impressed with the welcome that we have received here, both by the community and the employees that we currently have and so right now we are right on track for the ramp targets that we have set internally and I'm excited to see us grow," said Sabo.
Sabo won't say exactly how many people have been hired at the site so far, but says the hiring pace is going according to their projections. The online retailing giant continues to offer $5,000 signing bonuses to new employees. The company is also offering an education benefit up to $5,000 a year.
