(Moorhead, MN) -- There will be no mask mandate in Moorhead. The city council voted last night against mandating masks in indoor public places. A resolution put forward by Mayor Shelley Carlson did pass. It strongly encourages mask-wearing and for residents to get vaccinated to help the current COVID surge. The mayor also says the N-95 masks, which are considered to be the most effective, will soon be available.
