SkyWest Airlines filing termination of contract with Devils Lake, Jamestown Airports

(Devils Lake, ND) -- SkyWest Airlines is preparing to end service to the Devils Lake and Jamestown Regional Airports.

The airline let Devils Lake officials know that it is filing a 90-day notice with the U.S. Department of Transportation to terminate its contract with the airport. The airline is filing to pull service from 29 airports overall.

Devils Lake Regional Airport Authority chairman Dennis Olson says the airline has been facing an ongoing pilot shortage.
