(Fargo, ND) -- Five cities within Cass and Clay counties are recognizing the month of April as "Organ Donation Awareness Month."
Fargo, West Fargo, Horace, Moorhead, and Dilworth mayors have signed the official proclamation.
The proclamation cites the specific case of West Fargo High School and North Dakota Department of Science graduate Cameron Bolton, who died on July 2nd, 2018 from injuries sustained from a car accident. Cameron was an organ donor; with his heart, liver, kidneys, corneas, tissue, bone, and ligaments being donated to 77 recipients.
