(Portland, ND) -- One woman suffered serious injuries, her passenger non-life threatening ones, after a rollover crash in Traill County early Monday morning.
The North Dakota State Highway Patrol says 30-year-old Skylar Robinson was driving her car eastbound on Highway 18 around 2:15 a.m. about two and a half miles west of Portland when she tried to navigate a right-hand curve. Robinson then lost control, her car entering the south ditch where it rolled. She was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car, suffering serious injuries. Robinson was airlifted to Sanford in Fargo.
Her passenger, 31-year-old Ashley Feltus, was wearing her seatbelt and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. She was taken to Sanford Mayville Medical Center for treatment.
While the crash remains under investigation, Alcohol is a believed factor and Robinson is being charged with DUI.
