Two hurt in Alexandria area crash

Alexandria, MN - Two people were hurt when a driver lost control of a car on I-94 west of Alexandria Sunday afternoon. The State Patrol says Beverly Sirleaf, 36, of Moorhead, lost control of the car she was driving on westbound I-94, entered the median and stopped on the eastbound shoulder. She and a passenger, Ahmed S Kefel, 34, of Fargo, were taken to the Alexandria hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened just after 2pm. The interstate was snow covered and ice covered at the time.
