(Fargo, ND) -- Happy Harry's Ribfest is back for another year of serving nationally acclaimed bar-b-que.

Johnson's Bar-b-que head ribber Colonel Jackson spoke with WDAY Radio about the event, which he has participated in since close to the beginning.

"I can tell you, I've been out here probably longer than any ribber out here, and it's talked about all over the country, " said Colonel Jackson about the highly attended event, " We know what to expect when we get here. Some places we go, it's good one year, it's not good next year - It's always great here."

Colonel Jackson attributes the quality of the event to multiple factors, mainly the high support from attendees. He shared fond memories of bar-b-que fans buying rib racks in poor weather, rain or shine.

"It's been so supported so well over the years, "said Colonel Jackson," It's one of my favorite events in the whole country and we go everywhere."
