(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Jet Center's flight school is expanding its training fleet.

“Our flight school has experienced tremendous growth within the past few years, thus creating a need to expand our fleet”, said Tajae Viaene, director of FJC’s flight school in a statement released on social media announcing the move. “These aircraft will offer a new flight training option while playing a vital role in allowing more rental availability for our customers, such as overnight rentals”

The company added four Cessna 172R aircraft to the fleet. The new additions have Garmin G1000 avionics, which give student pilots situational awareness and make flying safer.

The flight school says it has reached a total of 7,537 training hours in 2021, including 4,497 hours of flight training and 3,040 hours of ground training. These numbers are up 48% from 2020 with a total of 5,059 training hours. Total training hours for 2022 are on track to surpass the hours of these previous years.

FCJ's flight school now has 14 planes in its fleet.
