Democrat running for District 27 state representative prioritizes school lunches

(Fargo, ND) -- Democrat and political newcomer Thomas Casler is talking about why he is running for state representative for North Dakota's District 27.  

"I'm getting into it because I want to help people. There is a lot of things that are affecting North Dakotans everyday and honestly a lot of those issues are affecting me personally," said Casler. 

Casler and his wife are the parents of two young children and he works in management for an area pest control company.  He is a graduate of NDSU. Casler says his priorities include child care, "universal school lunch", and healthcare.
