(Fargo, ND) -- A pastor in the Diocese of Fargo is now removed from the ministry.
Officials say Father Neil Pfeifer is facing allegations of inappropriate conduct with adults. He has been removed from ministry as pastor of the Basilica of St. James in Jamestown, St. Margaret Mary in Buchanan, and St. Matthias in Windsor.
"The Diocese of Fargo has received allegations of inappropriate conduct with adults on the part of Father Neil Pfeifer," noted Bishop John Folda in a statement released to WDAY Radio. "I take all such allegations seriously. An investigation has begun, and Father Pfeifer has been removed from ministry pending the outcome of it. Please pray for all involved in this situation."
The accusations do not involve children.
At this point no other information has been released.
