(Gackle, ND) -- A Gackle man is admitting to being drunk while driving a combine that ran over a farmhand.

Court records show 42-year-old Ryan Storbeck pleaded guilty Tuesday to negligent homicide.

Officials say 57-year-old South African farmhand Johannes Steenberg was standing next to a grain cart in September when the combine came around and struck him.

Storbeck also pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and making false reports to law enforcement. He's facing up to five years in prison for the negligent homicide charge.
