(Grand Forks, ND) -- A Grand Forks man is behind bars after an attempted robbery at a gas station Friday night.
The Grand Forks Police Department tells WDAY Radio officers were dispatched to the Orton's Southtown Cenex just after 9 p.m. off South Washington Street for reports of a man with a black handgun demanding cash, who then got into a car and left.
The suspect, later identified as 35-year-old Marquais Burns, was later found matching the description of the robber near Rumor's Bar and was placed under arrest for attempted robbery, terrorizing, possession of a stolen handgun and driving under suspension.
No injuries were reported.
