(Fargo, ND) -- The Fargo Public Library is partnering with local community garden group Growing Together to plant, maintain and harvest the garden plots at the Dr. James Carlson Library.
A library garden volunteer interest meeting will be held Thursday, April 13th, at 3 p.m. in the community room at the Dr. James Carlson Library.
Jack Wood from the leadership team of Growing Together is scheduled to discuss volunteer tasks and the many benefits of community gardening.
Weekly volunteer sessions for the library gardens will be held Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon starting in late April/early May, depending on the spring weather.
All ages are welcome to volunteer and no gardening experience is necessary.
