(Moorhead, MN) -- A Moorhead woman is under arrest in connection with a hit-and-run of a 12-year-old boy riding his bicycle Friday evening.
The Moorhead Police Department confirms to WDAY Radio that 59-year-old Jacqueline Swanson was arrested Monday evening in connection to the incident, which led officers to put out several alerts hoping to track her down.
Charges of failing to stop for a crash and felony criminal vehicular operations have been forwarded to the Clay County Attorney's Office.
The boy has undergone multiple surgeries and has a long road to recovery.
A GoFundMe page for 12-year-old Zamir to help with costs for his injuries has raised over $5,000 as of this Tuesday morning.
