Fargo Public Schools Assistant Administrator wins 2023 Support Staff of the Year

(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Public Schools is announcing the 2023 support staff member of the year.

Arati Heath is an administrative assistant for the English Learner and Summer School programs at the Agassiz building. She was was surprised with the nomination at the Agassiz Building at the buildings annual talent show by FPS superintendent Dr. Rupak Gandhi and Dakota High School Principal David Burkman. One of Heath's nominators described her as a person who "goes above and beyond expectations to make sure every family night is an engaging, worthwhile event", “takes pride in doing excellent work excellently,” and “believes that life is about helping others in a way that shows they matter and are valued.”

She works within the English Learner program with teachers and staff across all of Fargo Public Schools, serving more than 900 students in 23 different locations within the district. Heath began her career in FPS starting in 2018 at Roosevelt Elementary School. She moved to the Administrative Assistant role at Agassiz in 2020.
