(Moorhead, MN) -- The Moorhead Police Department is investigating a robbery involving a knife.
Officers tell WDAY Radio that they responded to a home in the 2700 block of 40th street south around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday evening for a reported robbery.
When they arrived, officers say the victim had walked to a local business nearby when personal property was taken by force with the assailant wielding a knife. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries that did not require immediate medical attention.
No weapons were recovered from the scene, and Moorhead PD says there is no information to suggest there is a threat to public safety, despite no arrests being made.
