Sanford Fargo to host 'Swing Training' event at Suite Shots

(Fargo, ND) -- Sanford Health Fargo is kicking off the third annual Roger Maris All-Star Week with the inaugural Swing Training event at Suite Shots Wednesday, April 19th, from 2 to 6 p.m.

Teams of up to six players can register to play a custom “61” game where each team can play a variety of games and get 61 swings to accumulate points.100% of funds raised benefits the Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center.

Former Minnesota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway, former North Dakota State All-American offensive tackle and NFL draft prospect Cody Mauch and Roger Maris Jr. will be at the event and taking part in the custom games.

The list of events includes:

• 2 p.m. – Team check in and social
• 3 p.m. – Ceremonial swing and start of games
• 4:30 p.m. – Social and Q & A

Event goers will also be able to register for the 39th annual Roger Maris Celebrity Golf Tournament. This year’s golf tournament takes place on Thursday, June 22nd, from Rose Creek Golf Course. The golf tournament will feature a nine-hole round in the morning and an 18-hole round in the afternoon.
