Rising floodwaters cause several road closures near Harwood; water level could reach historic "top 5"

(Fargo, ND) -- The rising flood waters have caused several road closures and issues north of West Fargo near Harwood.

That's where the Maple River and Sheyenne River meet. Residents in that area should be prepared for a major flood that could reach levels that would be in the top five historically.

The Sheyenne River is expected to crest in that area in the next 48 to 72 hours at 91.5 feet.

Cass County residents can request sandbags or piles of sand to be delivered by going online to casscountynd.gov/flood.
