Fargo Public School District names Discovery's Amy Herrick Administrator of the Year

(Fargo, ND) -- The Fargo Public School District has named Discovery Middle School Principal Amy Herrick 2023 Administrator of the Year.  

"I think what I enjoy most about the role is the fact that I get to be part of just so many different people's lives and worlds and that is just really an honor," said Herrick. 

Herrick was named the honoree during a surprise presentation Friday afternoon in front of the school's nearly 1,000 students and staff. 

Herrick began her tenure at Discovery in 2002 as a visual arts teacher, and was named principal at the school in 2020.
