James Moe announced as new Activities Director at Sheyenne High School

(Fargo, ND) -- James Moe has been appointed as the new Activities Director at Sheyenne High School. 

West Fargo Public Schools District Activities Director says Moe brings with him a wealth of experience in public education, having worked in the field for 14 years, with 7 of those being in the West Fargo Public Schools. 

He has also spent 15 years as a varsity soccer coach, serving as both an assistant and head coach and contributing to the success of 5 state championship teams. 

Mr. Moe has been recognized for his achievements, receiving EDC Coach of the Year for boys’ soccer in 2017 and 2020 and State Coach of the Year for boys’ soccer in 2013 and 2020. 

He most recently served as an Assistant Principal with Fargo Public Schools and holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from Minnesota State University Moorhead, as well as a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the same institution.

In response to Mr. Moe's appointment, Mr. Midthun stated, "James has a wealth of valuable experiences that have prepared him for an activities director position. He has proven himself to be an authentic, hard-working, and caring leader in his previous roles as coach, teacher, and administrator. Sheyenne High School has a proud tradition of strong athletic and activity programs, and I have no doubt that Mr. Moe will be an excellent addition to the team, ensuring quality experiences for all of our students."
