FARGO (WDAY) - A Fargo woman helped deliver 100 pizzas in an impromptu pizza donation to the YWCA this week.

Kali Heyen says she stopped by Papa John's on 32nd Avenue in Fargo this week when she noticed that the workers and delivery driver seemed quite stressed. "They said that they had received an order for 100 pizzas and then it was canceled after the pizzas were already made and they had no idea what to do with them. The delivery guy just kept saying he couldn't bring himself to throw them away and didn't know what to do."

Heyen suggested the pizzas could be donated to a local shelter, but the store still had 32 orders pending, so after some discussion, she I asked if they would get in any trouble if they let her take the pizza and deliver it to a shelter. "They emphatically agreed to let me do it," she said.

The shelter was more more than happy to take the donation.
