Fargo Fire Department responds to record number of calls in 2022

(Fargo, ND) -- The Fargo Fire Department is reporting a record number of incidents last year.  

Last night at the city commission meeting, Fire Chief Steve Dirksen reported the department responded to nearly 15,000 incidents in 2022. That's a roughly 40-percent increase over the past five years. Total damages amounting to more than five-million dollars, while property saved totaled about 280-million dollars.
