(Fargo, ND) -- One of three men charged in the murder of Phillip Bergquist along the Red River in Fargo last October is headed to prison.
39-year-old George Ortiz pleaded guilty in Cass County Court yesterday and was immediately sentenced to 55-years in prison. Joseph Poitra and David Rayneros Jr. are set to go on trial next week. Bergquist was stabbed to death. His body was found in the red river the day after he was murdered.
