UFC President Dana White Remembers 21-year-old killed in car accident in Moorhead

UFC President Dana White has shared the tragic death of Shalie Lipp, a mixed martial arts fighter who was killed in car accident on the I-94 bridge between Fargo and Moorhead, Sunday.

After her death, Lipp's mother discovered her journal which often ended with the phrase "Dana White will know my name."  When White learned of the tragedy and Lipp's desire to take her fighting career to the next level, he posted his condolences on social media. "Her mother found her journal and i guess at the end of every entry she would write “Dana White will know my name.” Lauren Murphy called and told Mick Maynard the story and it broke my heart.. My condolences to her family and friends."

Lipp, was schedule to fight Natalie Gauge for the flyweight title at Ignite No Mercy 11 on May 20 at the Kent Freeman Arena in Detroit Lakes.
