West Fargo Police Department to host body worn camera open house

(Fargo, ND) -- The West Fargo Police Department will host an informational open house on the new body worn camera program.

It's set to take place this coming Monday night from 5:30 to 7:00 at the training room at city hall.

The purpose of the open house is to provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about the program, interact with officers, and view the body worn cameras.

The department is testing WatchGuard body worn cameras on an initial group of officers, with the goal of deploying roughly 80 cameras by the end of 2023.
