Moorhead man identified following weekend body discovery in Red River

(Moorhead, MN) -- The Body pulled from the Moorhead side of the Red River this weekend has been identified by authorities.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office says Moorhead resident Harold Anderson was discovered dead in the river against the shore in Gooseberry Park on Saturday. Initial reports say there are no signs of significant injury or trauma, and state the cause of death is freshwater drowning. A final autopsy report is still pending, which includes a toxicology report.

Anderson was a missing person in Moorhead, and was last seen on April 23rd, 2023.
