'Pride of the Prairie' Exhibit opens at Red River Zoo

FARGO - The new "Pride of the Prairie" exhibit has opened to the public at the Red River Zoo.

The exhibit took years of planning and effort to come together, and features important species of the American plains. Pride of the Prairie allows visitors to get up close and person with the animals, featuring bison, prairie dogs, and the highly-endangered black footed ferret.

The exhibit will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
