(Horace, ND) -- A man is facing multiple felony charges following a Sunday morning chase in Cass County.

The Sheriff's office says they attempted to stop Walcott-resident Jason Remmick for speeding outside of Horace, but terminated the pursuit when Remmick entered Fargo. The chase was started and stopped in West Fargo a second time. Eventually, the suspect's vehicle hit stop sticks on County Road 14 when he left Fargo and attempted to enter Horace, eventually coming to a stop. Remmick was taken to the Cass County Jail, where he is accused of slamming a Deputy's hand in a drawer while being tested for sobriety.

Remmick faces several felony charges; including Simple Assault on a Peace Officer, Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle, and Aggravated Reckless Endangerment. He is also facing DUI and DUI refusal charges.
