(Moorhead, MN) -- Moorhead Police are searching for a suspect after they fled a traffic stop.
Authorities say they attempted to stop a vehicle in the 1200 block of 19th St South for no registration. The suspect vehicle then sped away, with authorities loosing the vehicle at the intersection of 20th Ave South and 19th Ave South. While searching the area, authorities noticed a hole in a nearby fence, and found the suspect vehicle in the backyard, but no suspect. Moorhead Police say no suspect is in custody at this time, but note the vehicle damaged a fence, deck, and unattached garage.
An investigation into the identity of the driver is ongoing.
