Fargo-Moorhead's Taco John's Restaurants Close over the Weekend

FARGO - Taco John's is no more in the FM Metro.

All locations of the fast food chain closed over the weekend with little to no explanation to employees.

Founded in 1969 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, there are now more than 300 Taco John's stores located within the United States, with the majority of locations in Minnesota. The closing of stores across the metro comes on the heels of their longtime CEO, Jim Creel announcing his retirement at the end of 2023.

Since the start of 2020, Taco John’s has opened 37 restaurants, expanding into new markets such as Nashville, Boston, Cincinnati, and Grand Rapids, MI.
