(Fargo, ND) -- Moorhead Police say the 13-year-old boy who died in a park Friday night was the victim of an accidental shooting.
The teen is identified as Zain Hussein Mezher.
Police say a group of juveniles had acquired a handgun, and were handling the gun when it accidentally discharged, striking the teen.
Life-saving measures were attempted by first responders at the scene, but the teen was pronounced dead.
The investigation is ongoing.
