(Pine Point, MN) -- Authorities are searching for a man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting.
Ogema resident Michael Croud is accused of fatally shooting David Hanks in Pine Point, and is wanted for second-degree murder. Hanks was found shot to death in a vehicle this past weekend, and police have identified Croud as a suspect. A warrant for Croud's arrest has been issued, and he was last seen leaving the crime scene in a gray Pontiac G6.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact authorities. The Sheriff's Department also attaching an additional statement regarding anyone who is potentially aiding Croud, "per MN Statute 609.495, 'Anyone who is discovered to have harbored/aided Croud will be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.'"
