(Hammond Township, MN) -- A pilot is dead following a rural plane crash in Polk County.
The Sheriff's Office says the crash happened south of Crookston near Hammond Township. When authorities arrived, they found the agricultural plane crashed into a field, and the pilot was found dead at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation, and the name of the deceased will be released after family is notified.
