Mental evaluation set for woman accused of threatening North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum

(Fargo, ND) -- A South Heart woman accused of threatening North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is set to undergo a psychological evaluation.

According to authorities, Jody Kuntz left voicemails on the governor's phone threatening to hang him.

She also made other threats directed at Burgum in calls she made to the Department of Public Instruction.

A court hearing was canceled this past week when questions arose about Kuntz's mental health.

A judge granted a request for her to be evaluated at the State Hospital in Jamestown.

Kuntz is currently facing harassment-threat charges.
