(Fargo, ND) -- Minnesota State Patrol officials say the start of the summer driving season has been the deadliest in a decade.
They say 46 people have died in crashes since Memorial Day weekend. They're boosting enforcement through the four-day Independence Day weekend.
They're running a special concentration in the Twin Cities metro because of large events.
MSP says troopers will be patrolling on the ground and using added air support.
Their focus will be drunk and distracted driving, speeding, and seatbelt enforcement.
