Fargo mother who prompted amber alert sentenced to jail time

(Fargo, ND) -- A Fargo mother who prompted an Amber Alert has been sentenced to jail time.

Breanna Ziegler had a court order June28h to turn her daughter over to Cass County Social Services.  

Ziegler never showed up with three-year-old Beatris De-coteau, triggering a state-wide Amber Alert.

Beatris was found safe the next day, and her mother was taken into custody. A judge has sentenced Ziegler to five days in jail and one year of probation.
