Cass County Sheriff: High-Risk sex offender in custody after falsely listing address

(Cass County, ND) -- The Cass County Sheriff's Office is sharing additional details following the arrest of a high-risk sex offender that claimed to be living in Page, North Dakota.

The Sheriff's Office says 40-year-old Matthew Eagleman listed his address as 204 2nd Street in Page, North Dakota. However, authorities say an investigation found Eagleman was not living or residing within the town. The man was later arrested, and is currently in custody at the Fort Totten Detention Center within the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
