Driver charged in deadly crash in West Fargo

(Fargo, ND) -- A man has been charged in connection with a car crash that killed a woman in West Fargo.

The crash happened June 28th, when a man driving on 19th Avenue East ran a red light at an intersection, colliding with a car and an unoccupied pickup truck.

The 28-year-old Minnesota woman driving the car was injured and received medical aid, but died at the scene.

The driver who ran the red light sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

He's identified as 30-year-old Sabastijan Tahirovic.

He's facing several charges including vehicular homicide, DUI, and driving under suspension.
